We find ourselves in unchartered waters and are facing many challenges as a school community. Our first week of home learning has come to an end and a very busy internet aside, it has largely been positive. It is great to see so many of our young people engaging with their learning digitally and interacting with their teachers in a different way. I would like to reiterate the message however, that the work is posted to ensure a wide range of curricular tasks and there is no expectation that they are all to be done at once!
Those entitled to free school meals can now collect these from either Duns Primary School or Chirnside Primary Schools between the hours of 11:30 and 13:00.
At this time of national uncertainty it is important that we focus upon our health and wellbeing and so I would like to encourage all of us to take regular breaks, get outside where this is possible and try to exercise -Joe Wicks has been entertaining many of our young people every morning at 9am!
It will not be a normal weekend, but hopefully everyone can switch off a little.
Please stay safe and look after each other,
Depute Head Teacher
